minimalism

I thought this photo was interesting because the colors blend very well together and I like how even though it is simple it still caught my eye.

I like this photo because it emphasizes the darkness on the inside of the building and the lightness of outside.

This one caught my eye because when I first looked at it I didn't realize that it was a boat on water so it gives you a different perception on what the picture really is.

The image is of someone walking up a girls face. In this picture I think that he could also possibly be fixing the line on her face. It is artistic because you wouldn't normally think of someone on someone else's face. It could be photoshopped but it also might be a guy walking up a billboard. This image might mean that she lets people walk all over her in a way meaning that she lets people treat her badly. The photographer's intent was to make us think. The face of the girl is really pale and the man is colorful so it helps me think about how the girl might feel.

It changes the interpretation because I now know that it is a billboard which gives it a different meaning. Size can affect the meaning because before we just saw part of her face and it looked like the man was walking on it but now I know that he was walking up the billboard. The image looks spliced because if you look closely you can see tiny dashed lines by the sides of her face. It looks like it could be in a downtown area and people who would see it would be people who work downtown or people driving through that area. The girl's facial expression looks like she doesn't have much feeling and she looks very pale.
